Facebook, Microsoft, Twitter to launch new social networking tools

NEW YORK — Facebook, Twitter and Microsoft are joining forces to create a new social network that will allow users to share and discover information on their friends and the world around them.

The social network will be called MySpace and it will allow people to post, share and comment on the content of their friends’ profiles, according to a post on the social network’s website.

The announcement was made Thursday by Mark Zuckerberg, the CEO of Facebook, which is a subsidiary of Alphabet Inc. That means that Facebook and Twitter will be creating an integrated platform, Facebook said.

Facebook’s new social platform will be designed to be user-friendly, allowing users to create and share content on their Facebook and other platforms, including Instagram and Twitter.

Microsoft said the new social site will be the first of its kind and will be built using Microsoft’s open-source platform.

The new social website will be developed by Facebook, with the help of Twitter and other social media companies, according in a post to its website.

Twitter and Google are also working on new platforms for sharing content.

Twitter said it would be launching an application in the coming months to help users share news, videos, pictures and other content.

The news site Politico published an article Thursday on the new Facebook site, which it said would be “the world’s largest social network.”

Facebook is a social networking company with about 5.5 billion users worldwide.

It also has a growing presence in online video, which has made it the leader in the video-sharing business.
