Google Play’s mobile app will be available to download in Apple’s Watch app this weekend, according to sources close to the situation.
Google Play will now be available for free in the Apple Watch App, the source said.
Apple has been using Google Play to make its own apps available to its Watch and Apple’s Apple TV devices, but Apple has been unable to make apps available for the iPhone.
Google Play was the first app available on the Apple TV device in August, when it was launched with a free Google Play store for the first time.
Apple also introduced a free version of Google Play for Android devices in October last year, with Google Play Video for Android apps available on many Android phones.
Apple has previously shown interest in bringing apps to Apple Watch, but only with a small subset of the platform available.
Google Play is currently available on more than 80% of the Apple iOS devices, according the company’s own data.
Apple also recently announced that Apple Watch would be coming to the iPhone next year, but the company has not yet announced an exact release date.
“The future is now, and the time for the next big wave of apps to start arriving on the iPhone is now,” said Michael Yoon, senior vice president of software at Google.
“We’re excited about the Apple iPhone and its ecosystem.
We’re also looking forward to supporting the new Apple Watch.
While Google Play might not have been the only app to arrive on Apple Watch this week, the Apple product is still one of the few devices available for downloading on the platform.
