Google T-Mobile is set to release its Tango social networking app, which will be available on the mobile carrier’s Android and iOS platforms for a few days starting next week.
Tango is a social network that allows users to post photos and video to one another.
The app allows users, either through the Tango app or through the Facebook or Twitter accounts of other T-Mobiles users, to see photos and other media that are being shared.
The Tango service will work with Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Instagram, Viber and other social networks.
T-Mobile plans to roll out the T-Tango app in the United States next week, the company said in a statement to The Verge.
Tinder, the popular dating app for T-mobile, also has its own Tango application available.
Tinder allows users and groups of users to see each other’s profile pictures, as well as see their friends’ and contacts’ profiles, according to The New York Times.
Tangos apps will be accessible via the Google Play store in the U.S., Australia, New Zealand and South Africa, according, The New Yorker reported.TAP is the only other Tango mobile app that is not available in the Google ecosystem.
It allows users or groups of them to see other users’ pictures, videos, and other content.
TAP will be made available to T-Mobiles in the UK, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, and Portugal, The Verge reported.
